This charming chalet very impressive. The doors and windows on the barn are very fine woodcuts with incredible detail. There is even an inlaid cuckoo bird on the door that the cuckoo comes out of.

The carved squirrel, outside of the traditional barn, actually jumps up when he is startled by the cuckoo call.

The roof has individually hand-laid shingles, and the dial, hands, and bird are all of solid wood.
