- This Emmental style chalet has a seesaw centered just above the face of the clock. Together with the clock’s tick-tuck the seesaw moves up and down and gives the clock a very cheerful character. On the left is a little dog house that is covered with beautiful flowers. Inside a little dog is sheltered.
- The stones at the feet of the flag pole are collected from around the Brienz mountains and the flowers are made of sand that is carefully collected from the banks of Lake Brienz and colored by hand.
- Finally, a chimney sweeper’s head appears from the chimney above each time the cuckoo bird sings.
